Survey - Animal Welfare (Poultry) Regulations 2024 - Stage 1

In order to implement the nationally agreed Poultry Standards, draft Animal Welfare (Poultry) Regulations have been developed. The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is now seeking your feedback on Stage 1 of the Poultry Regulations. 

Noting that the Poultry Standards are nationally agreed, this consultation will consider feedback on how well the Stage 1 regulations reflect and are able to implement the intended policy outcomes of the standards. It is strongly recommended to read the consultation paper, the consultation draft of the Poultry Regulations and the frequently asked questions on the DPIRD YourSay website.

To make a submission:

• read the consultation paper, consultation draft and FAQs first
• register (if you have previously registered, then just sign in on the YourSay homepage
• complete the survey.
