Under the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management (Declared Pest Account) Regulations 2014, the Minister for Agriculture and Food is consulting on Declared Pest Rates (DPR) for the 2026-27 financial year.

This annual consultation helps the department gauge landholder perceptions of the DPR and takes place before the rates are determined and published in the Western Australian Government Gazette.

The consultation opens on Friday, 17 April 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm AWST on Sunday, 17 May 2026 (AWST).

After the Minister has reviewed the results of consultation and determined the rates, they will be published in the Western Australian Government Gazette and also on this YourSay webpage.
