Consultation has concluded
In accordance with the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management (Declared Pest Account) Regulations 2014, the Minister for Agriculture and Food carried out consultation on the 2023-24 Declared Pest Rates (DPR).
Consultation started on 14 April 2023 and closed on 15 May 2023 at 4pm (AWST). The Minster has reviewed the results of the consultation and determined the Rates. The Rates were published in the Western Australian Government Gazette on 16 June 2023 at: Gazette 75 of 2023 (legislation.wa.gov.au).
This annual consultation is a valuable process to enable the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) to gauge landholder perceptions of the Declared Pest Rates.
